Online Training Program for Pakistanis
Few weeks back Pakistan Ministry of Information technology and Telecom has launched an Online Training Platform, called DigiSkills program with the finical help of Ignite-National Technology Fund. Its goal is to Train 1 million Pakistani Men and Women in the first phase to transform them into successful employees and freelancers so they could work from heir home easily. This is a very useful platform for career seekers, digital literate people and especially for women of Pakistan. It’s highly recommended that you should take part in this program and improve your skills as well as gain some new skills.
What is DigiSkills program?
This program is executed by Virtual University and after completing your training course successfully you will also get an E-Certificate for your respective course. You will get a soft copy of your E-Certificate, which you can download from the Digiskills website and convert it to hard form. This program is absolutely free of cost; all you have to do is sign up for the program on the website given below and start training.

These courses consist on Video Lectures by highly experienced and qualified people, from these courses you will not only gain your skills, but you will also learn how to earn money online using your skills. You can get enrolled in two courses maximum in one batch. This program is not optimized for mobile phones, so you need to have a Laptop or Desktop Computer to access the material of course.
How to Signup:
Go to the website www.digiskills.com and create an account by clicking on the sign up button, now go back to the Homepage of the website and you will see all the available programs listed in the Courses Menu. You can choose any one or two programs of your choice from the menu.
Learning Management System
You can see your selected courses and their progress in the Learning Management System section on the website.
Passing Criteria
You have to complete at least 60% of your course to get a certificate, furthermore after watching the Video lecture, you will be given some exercises to do. if you don’t want to complete these exercises it’s up to you, but you must do these exercises to score a 100% in your Course. Obviously you won’t be allowed to watch all the lectures at once there will be one video and some exercises each day, every course duration is different for example duration of Digital Marketing course is 3 months, this limit is imposed off course to make sure that the trainee gets the maximum value out of the program.
This is a very positive step taken by Pakistan Government. Now a days we are observing that our young generation is facing unemployment issues after completing their university. This course is a nice good option for all unemployed educated individuals to at least start generating their pocket money.
